Physiotherapy.

Hands-on, evidence-based treatment that finds the root cause and builds a recovery plan tailored to your body, your lifestyle, and your goals.

Our Approach

Physiotherapy that gets to
the root cause.

At Move to Motion, physiotherapy is our foundation. Every treatment begins with a comprehensive whole-body assessment by one of our experienced registered physiotherapists. We don’t treat symptoms in isolation — we assess the entire kinetic chain to understand why you’re in pain, not just where. This means evaluating how your joints, muscles, nerves, and movement patterns interact, so we can identify the true origin of your condition rather than chasing the symptom.

We combine hands-on manual therapy with targeted exercise rehabilitation, building a tailored program fitting your lifestyle and work demands. Whether you’re recovering from an acute injury, managing chronic pain, dealing with headaches, or rehabilitating after surgery, our Move to Motion physio team creates a physical therapy plan that gets results — and keeps them. Our physiotherapists work closely with our acupuncturists, massage therapists, and chiropractor under one roof, so your care is seamlessly coordinated across disciplines.

What We Treat

Conditions that respond to
physiotherapy.

Back & Neck Pain

Disc herniations, sciatica, degenerative changes, muscle strains, and postural dysfunction. We identify whether the issue is structural, muscular, or neural — then treat accordingly.

Sports Injuries

ACL tears, rotator cuff injuries, ankle sprains, tennis elbow, runner’s knee. From acute management through return-to-sport, we guide every phase of recovery.

Post-Surgical Rehab

Knee and hip replacements, ACL reconstructions, spinal surgeries, shoulder repairs. Early physio intervention accelerates recovery and restores function faster. Learn more →

Chronic Pain

Persistent pain that hasn’t responded to rest or medication. We use IMS, laser therapy, graded movement, and pain neuroscience education to break the cycle. Read our blog →

Motor Vehicle Accidents

Whiplash, soft tissue injuries, concussion-related symptoms. ICBC pre-approves 25 physiotherapy sessions with no doctor’s referral needed. ICBC claims →

Workplace Injuries

Repetitive strain, lifting injuries, falls. WorkSafeBC covers physiotherapy for accepted claims. We focus on safe, timely return to work. WorkSafeBC claims →

Advanced Modalities

Specialized therapies
under one roof.

Beyond traditional manual therapy and exercise, we offer advanced treatment modalities that accelerate healing and target conditions other clinics can’t reach. These specialized therapies are integrated directly into your physiotherapy sessions when appropriate — so you get the benefit of multiple treatment approaches in a single visit. Our clinic invests in the most advanced, evidence-based equipment available to ensure we can treat even the most stubborn conditions effectively.

Your First Visit

What to
expect.

Your initial assessment is 45–60 minutes. We take a detailed history, assess how you move, perform specific clinical tests, and explain exactly what’s happening in your body and why. You’ll receive hands-on treatment in your very first session — not just a talk. Many patients feel meaningful improvement after just one visit. If you’re looking for physio in Surrey and want to know if it’s right for you, our When Should I See a Physio? guide breaks it down.

From there, we build a tailored recovery plan with clear milestones, a home exercise program, and a realistic timeline. Follow-up sessions are 30–45 minutes and include a combination of manual therapy, exercise, and any specialized modalities your condition requires. As you progress, we may transition you to our active rehabilitation program for supervised exercise-based recovery. No referral is needed in BC — you can book directly. Have questions?
